Dan started his day going out in the AM to play some basketball with his buddies and then out for some yummy lunch for his favorite, Japan Inn. After lunch, he decided he wanted to do a little shopping and get this, he wanted to buy Logan new shoes and said "he didn't want anything for himself but would rather buy stuff for Logan". How amazingly humble is he? Oh and then when we returned home, he even decided to mow the lawn!! Can we say "hard worker"?!?! He didnt even want to take a break on his bday.This man is the best and he simply amazes me with what a great husband and father he has become!
Later on, I surprised him with having a bunch of family and friends over for some yummy dessert and drinks. Btw, we had soooo many people bring drinks that we have enough beer for another party lol (see pics below). We feel blessed that we had such a great group of friends who were there by Dan's side to celebrate with him. We all got chocolate wasted lol. Especially, with my Slutty Brownies I made! Thanks Pinterest!!!
Then Sunday, we decided to take a drive up to Boynton Beach to visit Dan's cousin Sean. He had just had arm surgery a few days before so we didn't get to see him for Dan's birthday. We saw his new place and then met up with Dan's parents for some Jaxons. Logan got to experience his first of many visits there. He even sampled all the yummy ice cream and food. Then it was time to return home and get ready to watch the Heat game. Thank goodness they won bc the last game they lost put Dan in a mood, so I love seeing him happy. Just three more to go for the championship! ;)
