We had a blast this past weekend with all of our fall festivities!
First we went to lunch at Japan Inn for Dan’s favorite type of food, Hibachi!
Logan was so cute when they did the show. He liked the part when the chef lit
the fire on the grill. After lunch we then went to the Shenandoah Fall Festival.
Which was a lot of fun but unfortunately a little too hot for Logan! We didn’t want
to stay too long because it was during the peak sunny hours of the day and that
isn’t good for such a little guy like Logan. We did get to at least walk around
a little and take some goofy pictures in the photo booth. After the fall festival,
we took a drive over to the mall to do a little shopping. I haven’t gone
shopping for so long! So it was nice to buy a few new pieces of clothes! After
the mall, we headed over to Flamingo’s Nursery to see their cute pumpkin patch.
It was so nice walking around but Logan was starting to get tired…..and so was
daddy! We took some cute family pictures and then went
home.
As for Logan, he is developing and growing so quickly. He is
now 12 weeks old and trying to reach for things. He’s gaining control over his
hands and standing with assistance all the time. He prefers to stand, than to
sit down. He also laughed for the first time awake (he laughs in his sleep)
last Saturday. It was the cutest laugh ever!!! Dan and I were kissing both
cheeks Saturday morning and he was cracking up. He has the cutest smile to go
along with his darling little laugh! It melts my heart! I have a feeling he is
going to have me wrapped around his little finger. Hopefully, daddy will be the
disciplinarian parent lol.
Logan is also sleeping through the night! He is sleeping
around 10 hours straight. I hope this will continue because he has been doing
it for the past 9 days in a row! He is also eating so much! He eats anywhere
from 6-8 oz 6 times a day! He must have a fast metabolism because the doctor
said most babies his age only eat 4 oz 6 times a day. I am really in need of
stepping up my game on coupoining with all the formula we are going through
these days! I am so happy to see him having a healthy appetite! =)
