4 months already! Are you kidding me?!?! Where has the time gone?
We are finally getting into a daily routine. He wakes up around 7:30 am, then I put him down for a nap in his crib around 8:30 am and he sleeps until around 10 am. He wakes up to eat and play or run a few errands with me and takes a 20-30 min cat nap sometime around noon. Then he takes another good nap around 3 pm until around 5:30 pm and stays up until bedtime. Bedtime routine starts around 8 pm. His daily bedtime routine goes like this....give him a bath, change into sleeper, bottle, then into the crib he goes, AWAKE, and puts himself to sleep like such a big boy! He finally falls asleep for the night around 9ish and sleeps through the entire night until the morning. He is an AMAZING baby! We just love this boy to pieces!
He is also getting CHUNKY! I just love his baby rolls! His thighs are the cutest! He is wearing size 3-6 month and 6 month clothes. Still in size 2 diapers, which fit him well but seem to leak at times. We may have to switch brands bc we are using Pamper's Swaddlers and when he falls asleep on his tummy, he seems to get his belly wet. We may changed to Huggies Movers (now that he is moving around more).
He is also sitting up a lot these days! He can keep himself up unassisted for a few seconds, but if he has a little support, he is golden! He is also getting in the habit of doing sit ups if we lay him down because he would much rather sit himself up.
I also can't cradle him any more bc he is such a big boy! He would much rather be on my hip and see everything. He even started sitting in the cart like a big boy. However, The baby carrier is the best these days, being that he is too heavy for me to carry him all day long! In fact, we did some errands the other day and I put him in the Baby Bjorn and he didn't cry once! We were out for 2.5 hours with ZERO fussing! He even fell asleep in there without fussing at all! I'm loving the carrier! For all you mommies to be, get one! They are the best! Especially, if you are an OCD type person who wants to clean without having to worry about the baby being upset.
As for other things going on, our bathroom is finally repaired, thank goodness! That was so stressful having construction, a baby, and a loud/barking dog all under the same house! I wanted to pull my hair out for those 2 LONG weeks. Atleast, all the repairs are done, the bathroom is safe and looks beautiful!
Our house is finally getting decorated! We have our manorah out and tree all decorated. Most of my shopping is already done (thank you online shopping)! Ebates is the best if you need to buy online. All you have to do is go to Ebates.com and search for your store and shop away and earn money back! I just got a check for $48 from shopping through them, plus discount codes for the merchandise! So great for any stay at home mommies who need to shop and make some extra money.
Chanukah is already this Saturday night! I can't believe it! I'm so excited to celebrate it with Logan this year! He is definetly going to get spoiled from mommy and daddy, plus all our other family members! So excited for all the holiday joy coming up!
