10 Months Old!

So here we are....10 months ago I gave birth to this amazing, sweet, and fun little boy. He has officially been in this world longer than he was inside my belly. That is surreal to even think about! Time has just flown by and in just 2 short months, my little man will be turning 1! Holy crap!

I am loving watching Logan grow from my little baby to an adventurous little toddler these days! He really is changing by the second and learns something new each day. His new tricks that he has picked up this past month are giving kisses on demand, shaking his head no, standing on his own, dancing to songs and waving bye bye to everyone who leaves. He is also trying to say words, such as book, ball, and Dan said he heard him say turtle during bath time one night. He is incredibly smart and I literally feel overwhelmed with a feeling of proud everytime he learns something new.

Oh and he is also learning how to test my buttons and explore his limits, which is challenging at times but I am staying firm with him. He has this adorable smile everytime he does something he is not supposed to do and cracks up. His new thing is blowing his food out of his mouth and making a mess when he starts to get full and then shoots this gorgeous little smile at me like "Ain't I cute?". Here comes the life with a toddler! ;)

Here are some outakes to show you my little guy in action of becoming a toddler ;)

Happy Mother's Day!

I'm a little late with this post bc we had a super busy and fun filled Mother's Day weekend with this handsome guy!

First off on Saturday, Dan took Logan and myself to lunch at one of our favorite places to eat, Japan Inn. Then we ran a few errands and came home for a quick and much needed nap. We woke up and did some fun DIY Mother's Day projects. After that, Dan gave me the night to go shopping (baby free) as an early Mother's Day gift. What a difference it was to shop by myself! I mean don't get me wrong, I love going out with Logan but I've learned that shopping has to be done QUICK and plenty of times I have to skip the whole "trying on stuff" and just buy it and hope for the best. So you can imagine how nice it was for me to get the night to myself to shop as long as I needed! I ended up getting some super cute stuff for Mother's Day! I ended up getting a new bathing suit (which was much NEEDED bc my old tops looked ridiculous on me!), 2 dresses, a cute blouse, and a pair of jeans. I have to mention that they were all on sale and I had a 20 percent off friends and family coupon, so that made me a happy camper!

As for Sunday, we got up, fed Logan and I was surprised with my favorite flowers, Peonies! We got dressed for the day and then stopped at Dunkin Donuts for our new obsession, iced coffee, and grabbed a quick bite at Mc D's for some breakfast.

Then we headed to the beach. It was so nice out! We ended up going to the usual resort pool at the beach bc its so much tamer for Logan, compared to the ocean's waves. Mommy got to get her tan on bc I'm beyond pale these days, while Dan and Logan were in the pool learning some water safety tips that our friend Mariah taught us. It was pure perfection of a morning! Then we headed home to get dressed and go out to dinner with Dan's parents.

Overall, my first Mother's Day was amazing! I would like to thank my wonderful hubby for making the day so amazing! He is just so sweet and thoughtful!

I just wished I could have seen my mom and grandma but things happen and we are going to go out together some time this week to celebrate bc after all, Mother's Day shouldn't be celebrated just 1 day! Shout out to you guys, I love you so much and look forward to celebrating with you!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! :)

9 months in, 9 months out!!!

As you can see, taking pics is getting harder and harder because he is all over the place!!!

It's crazy to believe that Logan has been out of my belly, just as long as he was inside! He is getting so big and I can barely see my little baby anymore but now a big boy who resembles a toddler these days. He is crawling like crazy, standing up on everything, waving hi and goodbye, saying dada/baba/ mama and kissing. We are working on the kisses bc he currently French kisses, big open mouth wet ones, but that's okay bc I still love getting them! He is just so sweet but does have his moments due to extreme teething. Poor little guy has already 4 top teeth and 2 bottom teeth! Oh and there are 2 more trying to poke through below, so I know he's been fussier from that. He teeths on everything these days and drools all the time. Teething just plain stinks and my poor little man has been teething since 3 months old, which is so young! I wish he would get a little break from it already!

He is also getting much braver these days and tries to stand alone for a few seconds at a time before he squats to sit. We are working on balancing with his little handheld walker. He also practices with the seated walker but he is still going backwards in that one. So we try to practice with the handheld one for now, since its more like "real" walking. I would say by next month or so we might have a walker. That is scary for me to imagine but also exciting at the same time to watch him grow!

This past month, we have been to a bunch of play dates and have had a blast! Our new favorite place to go is Lil Javas. He loves that places! Oh and it's great that's it's FREE for all babies under 1! Can't beat that! ;)

We also went to the dr's today for his 9 month check up and Logan did awesome! The dr said he is 20 pounds (50th percentile) and 28 inches long (75th percentile), which makes him tall and thin. He is still rockin his size 4 diapers but is now in size 12 months clothes. He's such a big boy! It's crazy to look back at videos and pics of when he was just 12 weeks old, thinking at the time that he was big back then, so I know when he is 18 months old I will probably be saying the same thing about now.

On another note, planning for Logan's 1st birthday had been going great, thanks to Pinterest! I've already made all of his banners, cupcake toppers, and goody bags. I also have some great ideas for food and all to match the theme. I'm so excited for it!!!!!

T minus 3 months!!!! ;)
